Shim Sham Routine

This is probably the most famous of all the swing line dances - Frankie Manning’s Shim Sham, modified from a tap dance routine.
Here is the music and routine choreography for you to learn and practice at home.
This is classically danced to either “‘Taint What You Do” or “The Shim Sham Song” both versions by Bill Elliott Swing Orchestra.
Note: If dancing to: ‘Taint What You Do, there is a break of one phrase before the second round of Stomp Offs where you either do nothing or act out the lyrics: “When I was a kid…..”
If dancing to: The Shim Sham Song, there is no break and you go straight back into the Stomp Offs round 2.
